Books about Libraries -- Storytime Plan

I love books about books!  Each September, I would begin the fall storytime session with books about books.  There are tons of great stories about books, libraries and reading.
Here is an EXAMPLE of a storytime framework I might use.  Generally, I gather all the materials together a week or two in advance.  A day or two before storytime, I take the items and stack them in order I plane to use them.  I often place a sticky note on the back of the book as to the next activity or place the books and activities in order on the "teacher's table".  Finally, I always pull more books than I could possibly read.  It gives me the opportunity to chose according to my mood and to take the temperature of my audience.

Please feel free to use the plan and modify it to fit your library needs.
